We came across Alakananda on our Facebook feed and based on what we saw on their website, it seemed worthy a site visit and so we scheduled one during our trip to India.

During our visit, we instantly connected with Alaknanda Riverfront as it is a perfect fit for what we were looking for – that is a peaceful place to build our retirement home when we move back to India in a few years, but something that is also centrally located and easily accessible.

We even stayed overnight at the project – twice – to experience the place firsthand.

The ambience is amazing, with lots of greenery, and more importantly from our perspective – safe & secured boundaries with 24/7 security and a well thought-out layout, with various amenities for all age groups and interests.

Of course, the main attraction for us is the spectacular views of Krishna and Paleru rivers, plenty of open areas, walkways and a beautiful botanical garden already planted with various types of fruit and medicinal plants…

Adding to this location advantage are the medical facilities in Jaggaiahpet & easy availability of domestic help – basically giving us all the modern conveniences of a city we wish for, while living in the midst of undisturbed & unpolluted nature!

It has a grand overall vision that Mr AVR Chowdary garu and team are in the process of implementing, including an on-site ayurvedic wellness centre and assisted living facilities coming in the future.

In addition to this the site is easily accessible from Vijayawada, Hyderabad & Guntur – and with the new bridge approved for construction right next to Alakananda, the site will also have quick access to Amaravati.

We also loved the fact that there are vast designated forest areas next to the site and the site is located very near to 5 famous pilgrimage temples of Vedadri, Koti Lingala, Muktyala, Tirumalagiri & Penuganchiprolu!

We had a very pleasant experience interacting with the humble onsite team led by Mr Divyendhu & Mr AVR Chowdary and a simple, convenient & straight forward payment, registration and post-registration process.

We didn’t need to travel for the registration and the sale deeds were delivered to our doorstep in the US!

We look forward to working with the Alakananda architects to start building our dream retirement home over the next couple of years.
