I first heard about Alakananda from my friend Vikas – who already invested here and has started construction of his home.

Before visiting, I did some basic research and was impressed by the clear communication and genuine updates on the website – based on which I scheduled a visit to the site.

I was pleasantly surprised by the scale of the project – especially impressed by their Botanical gardens farm with numerous varieties of home grown fruits & vegetables!

And of course the riverfront location is the main selling point and was exactly the way they showcased on the website and brochures – no false promises.

I also got to see multiple homes that were built and it was the right balance of traditional style of construction, nostalgic village kind of ambiance – but with all the modern amenities of a city home.

It was an easy decision to make and the entire purchase and registration process was seamless and a stark difference from the traditional real estate experience – there were no sales people over-selling or forcing a sense of urgency.

We spoke to Divyendhu, who helped identify the right plot for us and he ensured the whole process was handled smoothly by their team and even registration was completed promptly, without my physical presence.

Our family often reminisces about the slow and mindful living of the past, especially our childhood years when we used to live in a tiny town amidst a lot of greenery – which is unimaginable now without modern comforts.

Alakananda has got this balance right and we look forward to this long term as a retirement home!
