An acquaintance of my in-laws mentioned Alakananda in 2019 – around the time the project was getting started – and when we visited the project, it was still taking shape and in very initial stages.

I went back to Bangalore contemplating the investment, but over the next few months circumstances changed and I dropped the idea of any investment here as I was not convinced about the future growth of this area.

But the project continued to remain stuck in the back of my mind, since me and my wife are very fond of water bodies!

Then in 2022, we were looking for an investment and Alakananda popped up immediately.

We spoke to Mr.Jashank who explained about the project in detail, scheduled a visit and both of us flew down to Vijayawada.

The project had progressed considerably from 2019 and both of us were clearly in love with the proposition that Alakananda presented – a once-in-a-lifetime riverfront location, surrounded by temples and forest land right in the Center of AP & Telangana, that too at just 1/4th the cost of land in Bangalore outskirts.

We met the promoters the same evening and finalised the deal for a beautiful plot in the project.

Though we couldn’t stay in Vijayawada to complete the process, everything was handled smoothly & professionally while we were in Bangalore.

The registration was done and the documents were handed over in person at our home.

Recently, in December 2023, our family spent a night in Alakananda and it gave us a taste of what life would be like staying in Alakananda and absolutely loved it – the kids enjoyed the power boat ride on Krishna, dinner under the stars and other activities and our parents could visit the temples next door, making it a getaway for the entire family.

We definitely hope to make Alakananda home someday.

The grand vision of the promoters, in creating a unique living experience was what drew us to the project and we look forward to realisation of that vision.
